Image finally available.  41 CDs and one DVD.  The DG site has the content listed.  Sure, there's the Spanish music, but the Chopin, Schumann, Schubert, and Scarlatti make it worth buying.

Can you provide a link to the contents, Todd? I can't seem to find it.

Actually, this came out a month ago, but I don't believe it was mentioned.

Thank you! I think I'll have to get this one. I have only a few of De Larrocha's recordings, so this won't duplicate too much.

Is Spanish music a problem for you? I adore Spanish piano music.   0:)
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Trevor Pinnock Louis Couperin, this is Louis Couperin masquerading as an English aristo. (I didn't know that Karen Flint owns an important collection of musical instruments.)

  I adore it when she plays it. I could be wrong, but I doubt that many (except for a certain occasionally surly GMG member) will be buying a De Larrocha big box to hear German Warhorses.

{My thought exactly, Ubu. You posted while I was typing}

While I certainly do not expect every or any member to read every post I write, or even most posts, or even a significant minority of posts, I've posted about recordings of Spanish music, and especially Spanish piano music, for over a decade on this forum and its predecessor.  Of course, it is the internet.

What a dumb question.

I read Todd's comment as meaning de Larrocha's calibre in Spanish music is a given therefore the other repertoire is where the curiosity/interest lies.....

Well yeah, that's the other way to read it. Not remembering having read any posts by Todd about Alicia de Larrocha's recordings of Spanish repertoire, I was indeed not sure in what way he meant it, and the reaction to 71 dB was not called for.

Either way, all the better ...

Not sure I'm in for such a big set by de Larrocha myself - I've got the Icon, some Decca sets of Spanish music (five or six discs), the Granados and Mozart on Sony ...

Seemed gratuitous, indeed.

It would seem now you have made that amply clear. Apologies for not having been aware of your posts on Alicia de Larrocha's recordings of Spanish repertoire.
