What I thought is new release from Tahra, with the new to Krauss' discography recording of Brahms' 1st, first I heard that there even is a Brahms 1st from Krauss. Not quite sure if there are more Jupiters.
But then I find a musicweb review from 2002 making it a reissue. But still new to me, and exciting.

And if one is in the mood for 96 discs more of Krauss there is Venias box, released this summer.

Plus, if you buy this new reissue, you'll get that photo of him in that marvelous hat. ;D

Here's a re-issue of Kubelik's Mahler Cycle with Original Jackets and a Disc of BR-Audio:

Nice!  :)

Although I already have Kubelik's live recordings on Audite, which of course do not constitute a complete cycle.... ::)

That does look interesting. It's a shame that it doesn't seem to be available anywhere for much less than £20, but on the other hand there isn't exactly an abundance of late medieval mass reconstructions available on CD, so it may be worth it.

Due in November:

I agree it looks interesting, I found it for £15 inc. postage on amazon.co.uk. from a reseller, but I see that it’s gone up slightly

Just grabbed a copy from a reliable marketplace seller for a similar price to you - £15.58, free postage. Still not cheap, but acceptable for a CD which doesn't appear to be widely available (and whose price is therefore unlikely to drop much).

Another November release:

It does indeed. Definitely one on my must buy list.

Another new release due out in a couple of weeks which should be of great interest to many an early music nut:

Edit: already on JPC, with samples:

For Martinu enthusiasts (I think I haven’t seen this world-premiere recording posted yet):

What Men Live By is a one-Act opera to a libretto (in English?) by the composer, based in Tolstoy. JPC gives a tomorrow as release date.

I posted it in the Martinu thread but without an image - might get more exposure here. I have already ordered it from MDT and it is on its way.

I posted it here but it was probably a month ago. I tend to post releases as soon as they appear in the distribution database that I have access to (Naxos), rather than when shops pick up the info. Speaking of which, Naxos is busy uploading cover art for all the December releases now...

Aplogies. I missed that one. But yes, your posts are usually the first indication of future releases, and thanks for that!  :)
