So far, you are the only person reporting this problem, and I'm sure you are not the only IE user.

To diagnose it further, I will need a screenshot. Usually, its just a matter of pressing the "Prnt Scrn"  button on your windows keyboard. That copies a screenshot to your clipboard. Open "Paint" or a similar image program, and paste the image into it, and save the file. Then upload it to the forum as an attachment.

cheers

Rob is it true that we can not use the flash at the moment?
Or is it something I do wrong?

In general: I'm happy and I feel fine. :)
But the police & angel squads still don't work here (IE 7 problem?).

Just letting you know. No rushing needed.

This is not a browser issue. Some Smiley sets do not have all the smileys, and the Angel and Police are not "standard" smileys.

If you use the "Classic" set (you can change which set you use in your profile), then you, and anyone else using that set will see the Angel and the Police.

Regarding MP3 embedding:

Correct. Unfortunately, with the new forum software, older mods are not working.

It is just a matter of time before somebody creates a new mod for SMF to allow MP3's to be embedded within posts.

Rob my dear friend, although my subscription renewed itself every month, it did not now. Is this a glitch in the software, or the result of the new software?

Still having trouble logging in--doesn't like my password--and still requires me to log in again darned near every time I want to post something, three times for instance for the last three posts, including this one, all within about 5 minutes.  Doesn't encourage participation (maybe that's the idea?).

Is your password lucchesi or newman?

I had that precise same problem back before we changed software. I can tell you that clearing out your history and cookies and stuff didn't offer immediate relief, since I tried that before posting and it didn't matter much. But a couple of days later the problem went away seemingly on its own, IIRC. So maybe that's what does work, although not instantly.... :-\

Well, Gurn, it just booted me again, wouldn't let me correct typos in my Diner post on "progressives," and then forced me to log in twice before I could post this response here.  frustrating.

While I'm here:  Howdy, Gurn.  Howdy, Karl.

(I should probably just give it up.  Nothing I have to say here is all that important, anyway, and though some are amused by my comments, there's probably an equal number who just get pissed off by them!  Anyone else miss Nigel?)
