Glass's 1000 airplanes on the roof & Songs from liquid days

1000 airplanes is one of his slightly routine semi-operatic efforts for the Glass band in the early 1980s, opening up little new ground or strong melodies, yet I'm always fairly pleased to return to Glass and the marvelous nostalgia of the minimalism of this period.

Songs from Liquid days is a song cycle again on one CD and a more substantial proposition, setting some interesting romantic poetry with a range of accompaniment.
