Apart from legal or ethical concerns, I'd never sell a CD that I liked with only a lossy copy to play.  I'd want a lossless image, with an AccurateRip log if possible, and a backup of all that on a physically separate drive.  Franky, I consider MP3s or similary lossy formats to be ephemeral crap.
