Composer Index Rebooted
« on: September 13, 2011, 08:40:14 AM »
Note: If a message tells you to consider making a new thread due to the age of the existing one upon posting, please ignore it. If a composer you like is missing, please make a new thread about them and I will add it here.

Ctrl+F with most browsers will open a search box where you can type the composer's name to immediately find their entry (if there is one!) - note that names with diacritic or accent marks will not show as results if you type the name without them (e.g. "Dvorak").

It's all a front to conceal my life of excess ;D

Now to restrain myself from trying colour code by century, as it would look dreadful.

I'm not sure if the classicalification scheme was modified now or earlier, but I like it. :)

There is substantial Monteverdi thread in recordings (?) board, and Gavin Bryars thread should be somewhere in composers section.

Edit: I think I caught up with the backlog too.

This is a question mostly for the Lord High Dungeon Master and the moderators?

Pending Sara's return, is it (in the technical sense of what the forum software allows) possible for someone else to take over the duty of keeping the Index updated?  Or would it require a re-reboot of the entire thread, as it were?

Yep, the mods can meddle.

Yes, but can they meddle so a non-mod can take over the updating?
