Image posting
« on: October 23, 2011, 02:40:27 AM »
The image insertion tag has been temporarily disabled due to a security breach (an influx of spammers, posting inappropriate images, causing GMG's standing to drop with Google).

I have disabled the image tag until I find a solution.

Note that CD covers (or other items) can still be posted by using the Amazon ASIN tag. (see here how to use).

Once I strengthen the security, the image tag will return.

apologies for the inconvenience.

cheers
Rob

Seems to be another glitch :( Tried one post using the ASIN function, and it worked. Tried another, and the software would not post my message, giving an error message saying the body of my post was empty, despite text being present. I could then only post by not using the ASIN tag.

If you add a . before the tag it'll post.

It MUST be text BEFORE the tag. Even a . will do it.

Tell this to Johnny Rotten and he'll spit on you or whatever punks did back then.

Maybe we should have a distinct thread: Only the Pictures that Philo Likes?

The least we can do is index the posts, ranking them according to the degree that Philo finds them sexy. Who wouldn't find that interesting?
