Wait you mean another Nathan?

I could do with a lecture from a fellow Messiaen fanatic.  8)

Ok!   :D
I've seen his avatar before, so I have seen him around before (though I don't know him)
I'd like to meet a Messiaen scholar,  I'll send him a PM   8)

Umm...he's the biggest Messiaen freak here. It is in this area which I think both of you will get along famously. Wait a minute...Nathanb isn't EigenUser is he? ???

I don't believe so. My Nate Eigenuser is Nate Gigučre, the engineering student - violinist - powerlifter from Delaware. And such a charming young guy to talk to in person.

Yep, that's the Nate I'm thinking of.

Nathanb is from Dallas! Oddly, I've met the other Nate.

P.S. Scarpia, I think Todd is involved in some sort of job with highly seasonal busy periods - he was away from GMG during the early winter & holidays last year, too, and told me it was for work.

Perhaps the rare Dallas snowfall brought Nathan back indoors to his computer.  8)

To be honest, my 2nd to last semester of school had me strung out enough that I was pretty much continuously high for the entire month of December. Doing good now though.

I've seen Monkey Greg (Greg Moeller) around in quite some time. I also miss Peter (Moonfish) and ChamberNut (Ray). :(

Greg Moeller just attended the Philip Glass birthday concert in NYC and tweeted a couple pictures from it. He probably just doesn't have time to stop by here at the moment, though his report from that concert would obviously be a fun read.

I can't wait to hear YOUR thoughts on the new Glass symphony. :)

… music is not only an `entertainment’, nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found.    RVW, 1948
