Many thanks also for listening to my little trio New Year's Resolution !   0:)

It's on my desktop. I've listened to it several times with much pleasure.

Well, there is always the what are you eating thread, if you're not on hunger strike.   ;D

 ;D :D ;D

Actually I almost posted in that thread last night. I'd made, for the first time, Puerto Rican Pernil pork tenderloin.

"hey, they made a movie about
Mahler, you ought to go see it.
he was as f*cked-up as you are."

Green chorizo sausage. Apparently it is made with spinach powder! Vivid green anyway.

I thought some here might want to know that John Brosseau has died on January 5 of this year. I think he may have been a participant on this site in the distant past, and he was a participant on another classical music discussion board that some here are or have been members of (member jbuck919).

That's very sad to hear. I had some friendly musical conversations with him on CMG. May he rest in peace.

Has anyone seen Dancing Divertimentian lately? I miss him a lot. He’s a hell of a nice guy and has shown me nothing but patience and kindness. He and I also share a lot of the same musical interests, so that’s also a nice little bonus. 8)

I looked at his profile. He hasn't posted since November, but he was "active" today (lurking?). Just not paying attention to music these days, perhaps.
There are two kinds of music. Good music, and the other kind.

I believe the lurking part, but have trouble believing the not paying attention to music part. :)

I've been pretty scarce around these parts lately myself (though I'm sure I'm not enough of a veteran - or a contrarian ;) - to have been missed), but I have to say I'm glad to see M.I. back. I knew it would happen eventually, and I'm glad it finally has. :)

Yeah, and where is Dancing Divertimentian?

Thank you very much, Alex! It’s great to see you, too. Yep, you can’t stray very far once classical music has become ingrained in your mind and soul. 8)

Dancing Divertimentian lives a few miles away and met me in person one time (I was buying a couple CDs). Maybe I should throw a paper airplane in his direction...

That would be cool. 8)
