I won't start a kerfuffle for (or is it over) this.
Over.

That is my claim, a ruckus requires noise, a kerfuffle requires conflict. Two hooligans who are in accord make a bigger ruckus. Two hooligans in opposition make a kerfuffle.
This is an elegant solution.

Yet again, thanks to your goodself, I go to bed more knowledgeable than when I woke up.

Gentlemen, I think we may congratulate ourselves on having transformed several bemused ruskuses into an entertaining kerfuffle.

I can confirm that I was entertained, but quietly, to myself, so as not to raise . . . The Unseemly.

I like to think that all our ruckuses are seemly, and our kerfuffles gentlemanly.

I AM BACK!
Had the misfortune to lose my passwd during the difficult stage of the forum and the resetting did not work. I almost gave up but then I made contact with Mike/Gurn some time ago and he encouraged me to wait some more time. Now hopefully, everything will be in working order again...

Jo! Delighted things finally worked out for you. When the forum appeared to be back to normal, I thought perhaps you merely elected to stay away for reasons of your own. I didn't realize that one piece (password reset) was still not working. Super!  :)

Let's say it was a combination of several frustrating factors: The forum being only intermittently accessible even as a mere passive reader, the nagging feeling to remain a passive reader when a certain discussion screamed for my important contributions ;), so I skipped the reading as well, a hot summer with better spare time entertainment than sitting in front of a computer (or a stereo) and so on. If I had not come to the idea of contacting you via the Haydn page, I might have called it quits.
