Hey!  I'm not gonna take that sitting down!  It's time for my nap anyway.

I knew it! Even Z7, EVEN Z7, you say "La Mer" and he needs a nap.

Nappy or nappie
Just make it snappy.
The puns 'round here
Are getting crappy.
And so's the poesy.

Our posies are poetic,
And not really too pathetic,
But maybe apathetic,
Since they cannot be kinetic,
And yet not anesthetic,
Because they aren't poppies!

And wait a few weeks if you want some poppies: our Labrador Retriever  is pregnant!   ???

I have just joined GMG and note that missing members are a concern that also affects another site I belong to.
It's most noticeable when long-standing members disappear of course but I imagine it's something that affects forums in general. l'm hoping to be around for a long time.'

Don't forget the chalice with the palace or the vessel with the pestle!  ???
I memorized this when I was a kid. I first watched it with my brother as kids. I was laughing so hard at this movie (and this part in particular) that I must have been crying in hysterics. Of course the question of the Doge, the Duke and the Dutchess and the matter of the dirk is a close second.

The pellet with the poison's in the vessel with the pestle while the chalice from the palace has the brew that is true.
But they broke the chalice from the palace.
So now the pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon, while the vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true.

Of course, that doesn't make sense, because if the vessel has the poison, it doesn't matter that the chalice broke. Nonetheless, hilarious.

Be kind to your fellow posters!!

Yes, I wonder where Zauber has been? Most curious.

Well, it's only been 2 weeks (2/8). and his last post didn't indicate being pissed, so I figure either vacation or else sobering up after a prolonged buying spree. I learned that second one from watching you, John.   :D :D

Alternatively, he is still listening to Lohengrin!   :P

I fear he added both La Mer and Elgar's 1st to his playlist and is now comatose.   >:D
