Well, Karl - we couldn't rehearse that breaktime, but she very wonderfully waited for me as I was let out of school assembly really late... We rearranged the rehearsal to Friday (tommorow!!!!! :) :) :) :) ) but I gave her the score of the sonata which she seemed really happy to recieve! :) Wonderful moment. Thanks for asking Karl, I'll post an update about the rehearsal tommorow. Am really really excited, as you can tell! :)

Good news about the Chesham Arts Festival Prizegiving: My performance of the Chopin C Minor Nocturne seemed to go down really really well, and I was given the composition class trophy, a piano class trophy and also the trophy and bursary for the most promising senior performer! :) Was very pleased! :)

haha ;)

Scarlet and I met up today ( :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) there are the 8 smilies for that sentence alone!) We didn't play through any of the sonata, but just talked about it together. We talked about the difficulties of the piece and agreed to start off with the slightly easier parts. A full performance may be further away. But she'll manage all the difficulties I'm sure. She is amazing, and I could think of many more positive adjectives to describe her! She said that she had looked at the piece and said it looked beautiful. :) :) :) :)

Good news about the sonata:

Showed to my former composition teacher, who is a now a good friend who's opinion I trust extremely highly. He loved it fortunately, and said it was a beautiful, daring, excellent work! :) Scarlet also seems to like it, and said that she had been showing it to her teachers who had been 'really impressed by it'. :)

Scarlet and I shall start playing it soon! :)

Next work will hopefully be: "Fantasies for Viola and Chamber Orchestra'. Bound to be a very dreamy, and romantic piece. Looking forward to writing it! :)

In the 1980s there was a creative punk group called "Big Audio Dynamite".  I have decided to apply the term to you, my man.  And I still haven't properly finished your Screenplay yet.  Too bad.  Take care anyway old chum, I'm off to listen to Brahms!

Scarlet and I shall be practicing it soon, and hopefully there will be a recording in a few months... I can post the computer playback first if you want to hear it? Not the best quality though. Scarlet will give the most beautiful performance. :) :)

You can count me as well, although I would prefer to listen to the live performance (I'm very curious to listen to Scarlet). :)

Ok, sure. :) Me too... I can't wait to hear her play it! It is written for her, (it was written with her completely in mind), so I am sure she will give it a beautiful performance. I better start practicing my piano part, it is rather difficult! :)

Will you PM me a score, Daniel?

Will do tommorow morning, Karl. Thank you for the interest!

Of course, thank you for your interest.

Will send out the audios very soon. I just need to make a few adjustments.

Thank you all! :)

Started a new piece this evening! Not quite sure what it is yet... but it's a very romantic piece, showing much desire and subtlety. The piece does start with a fortissimo organ solo however, but what follows is very peaceful... A massive climax in mind for later in the piece though. So far, it is based on just four chords, with many harmonies floating around them accompanied by very impressionistic orchestration.

Looking forward to continuing it! :)

Will get the violin sonata out soon, by the way! :)
