Never heard it, although Sawallisch seems a likely candidate for excellence in Anton. I But the cover art was too good to pass by without comment.

Can't  wait until it arrives. Paolo Cherici is a lutenist I really like - on account of his discs with Claudia Ansermet (Symphonia,  reissued on Glossa) and this solo disc on Pan Classics (previously on Symphonia,  with a much prettier cover). One of my favourite lute records.
