Congratulations, Josh! I hope things go well for you. Remember to never get discouraged and keep your eyes on the ball.

Well it's confirmed that I'm officially accepted into university to study music, so I'm now very happy and exciting about it!!  ;D

I'm now a step closer to being accedemically qualified to be a professional Composer. I have big ambitions but I am also highly interested what my peers are creating and trying to become more than just someone who composes music.

I was at a Christmas party last night and had a huge discussion with one of my uncles who is going overseas today with his family (hence the early party) and he actually told me that he thinks that I should be a music teacher or lecturer, which has changed my train of thought about that type of thing.

I'm now looking directly into the eye of my future and for once I'm actually feeling at peace about it.

As far as composing goes, the only work I'm focusing on is my opus #1 for large orchestra. This sole, short work is my big introduction to my own music world but I don't feel the need to rush it now.

I'm also starting recording the folk album next month, there are around 80 half-finished songs to sort through. That album will be me at my most intimate, and writing something that probably won't happen again to the same extent.

So long story short, things are now looking very positive for me!!  8)

Splendid!

Thanks guys!   :D

I'm still working on this folk album (and the piece for large orchestra), 2017 has already brought me some new perspectives (and prospective too)

I hope it'll be a great year for the lot of us  :)

I am still eagerly but patiently waiting to hear some live recordings of your music. Can't wait for the folk album. :)
