Broken links?
« on: October 05, 2016, 12:00:33 AM »
Here's an example

http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php/topic,23227.msg801506.html#msg801506

(I got a page with an error message saying: An Error Has Occurred! The topic or board you are looking for appears to be either missing or off limits to you.)

I've just found it in this post
http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php/topic,25513.msg947137.html#msg947137
but it's not the first time, I already met a few of them is some other parts of the forum. Maybe bugs? Or what else?

Not really an error. The link points to a thread that has been (since) deleted.

Thanks.
So, can a thread be deleted? Why? I mean, certain threads or posts can (better: ought to) be deleted when they are inappropriate/offensive etc., but that doesn't seem the case.

Here's another one

http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php/topic,4144.0.html

from the first post of the 'Composer Index Rebooted' thread
http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php/topic,19229.0.html
go down till Denmark, then click on the only Buxtehude thread.
A real pity in this case, no other Buxtehude thread in the Composer Discussion board...

No, a thread like that wouldn't have been deleted. We try to only do things logically, even though we fail at that spectacularly from time to time, still, our failures don't often resemble this. :)

Since I can't find it either, I would suggest that it would be entirely appropriate for you or another interested party to begin a Buxtehude thread. :-\

Thanks,

There's a Buxtehude organ works thread here:
http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php/topic,3769.0.html

Don't know if it's the same one, though. Or why that link doesn't work.
