Laura Ingraham Targets Even Legal Immigrants In Off-The-Rails Rant

There is something slipping away in this country and it’s not about race or ethnicity. It’s what was once a common understanding by both parties that American citizenship is a privilege, and one that at a minimum requires respect for the rule of law and loyalty to our Constitution.

Here we have it, the rule of law and respect for the Constitution can be derived from national origin, skin color, religion in a way that it isn't about race or ethnicity. One signals something about the other in a way she can be ultra sure of. Take her word, these immigrants are resistant to Constitutional thought just like earlier generations of Irish and Italian immigrants were, whose legality just stopped mattering according to her latest bulletin. I feel better now.

I'm not only white, I'm Constitutionally white so it's OK that I'm somewhat German. I did check just to be sure. I wouldn't want to impose.

Good.  (Well, rotten, really;  but good point.)

If zb refuses to consider that there was outside interference because we cannot give her a figure of HOW MANY Trump voters [Russia influenced], well, that's a tight box she refuses to think outside of, but that is only her affair.

If you keep repeating something, maybe YOU will believe it.
However, the story is more complex and gets just curiouser. In short, whose side should Russia really be on, after getting perks in the Uranium One deal from the Hildebeest herself?
This is going to become a classic cae of point one finger and three pointing back at you:

http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2018/02/08/informant-says-moscow-paid-millions-in-bid-to-influence-clinton.html

An FBI informant involved in the controversial Uranium One deal has told congressional committees that Moscow paid millions to a U.S. lobbying firm in a bid to influence then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton by helping former President Bill Clinton’s charities during the Obama administration.

The Hill first reported late Wednesday that informant Douglas Campbell gave a 10-page statement to the Senate Judiciary Committee, House Intelligence Committee and House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, and was interviewed for several hours behind closed doors by committee staff.

First of all, wrong thread. Hillary is not the president.

More important: Did you actually read the twaddle you just posted? There is no statement that anyone did anything untoward in the whole article. It is third hand gossip that was investigated and rejected as a distraction.

Third: This is about the tenth time you have posted about the Uranium One deal without demonstrating that you know the first thing about it. So: Could you please describe what you think Hillary's role was in the approval of the deal and what was actually bought.

Let's all wait to talk about the Uranium One affair, until the wankmaggot dotard is on the witness stand.

This would be knee-slapping if not so revealing of a foolish and irresponsible administration. “The VP just announced a new military branch – a ‘Space Force,’ because no [Republican] is willing to tell POTUS it’s a dumb idea. Although ‘Space Force’ won’t happen, it’s dangerous to have a leader who cannot be talked out of crazy ideas.” And his cultists think he is smart.

You're gonna need more paper towels, Mister President.

For Trump is was all about kidding around with the crowd and throwing paper towels. “[T]he government of Puerto Rico is revising the 64-person death toll it declared in December, estimating that more than 1,400 people died as a result of the devastating hurricane — or 400 short of Hurricane Katrina’s death toll — raising questions about the effectiveness of the federal response to the hurricane and its aftermath. . . . [ S]everal other studies in recent months estimating the death toll surging well past 64 to anywhere from 1,000 to more than 4,000.”

Not at all irrelevant to bring up possible reasons why Russia might favor Clinton over Trump. As for the Uranium One deal, I already cited it in previous posts.

Flat Earthers Call Trump’s Space Force Idea ‘Impossible’

Putin hates HRC. More to the point he hates a strong America that would frustrate his plan to nibble away at parts of the former Soviet Union. I trust his judgment that HRC is a threat because you can see plainly he is scared of her, as I can plainly see he should be. So his policy is directed against her and her party and Repubs who are still patriotic like Rubio and J. Bush. Or, it's all an illusion and we should investigate the pizza parlor dungeons.

Ten Years After the Crash, We Are Still Living in the World It Brutally Remade

A decade now after the beginning of what has come to be called the Great Recession, and almost as long since economic growth began to tick upward and unemployment downward, the cultural and psychological imprint left by the financial crisis looks as profound as the ones left by the calamity that struck our grandparents. All the more when you look beyond the narrow economic data: at a new radical politics on both left and right; at a strident, ideological pop culture obsessed with various apocalypses; at an internet powered by envy, strife, and endless entrepreneurial hustle; at opiates and suicides and low birthrates; and at the resentment, racial and gendered and otherwise, by those who felt especially left behind.

Deflations followed by austerity lead to fascist politics. People don't just see failure, the deflation, they see a deliberate extension and deepening of the failure by means of the austerity policy imposed on a desperate populace. The people are betrayed by their democratic leaders.

Study: austerity helped the Nazis come to power

That's right, the deflation crisis itself isn't enough to get fascists, you need the austerity betrayal to breach trust in democracy.

Germany was the only major Western country implementing austerity

I note that hyperinflation didn't get a despot but deflation/austerity produces them in quantity.

Democratic socialists are conquering the left. But do they believe in democracy?

I have disputes with the author on some points, though I'm glad that the distinction is made between socialism and social democracy. It's too important to the history of capitalism to leave it to the theo-capitalists. All they want to do is erase the history and put a god on it.

People Think This Whole QAnon Conspiracy Theory Is A Prank On Trump Supporters

I don't want to catch anyone not thinking that!

It does look like a good prank and the kind of thing one associates with 4chan-ology. Look at how Fox And Friends is repeatedly pranked. How is it that Trumpist gullibility is not used against these poor defenseless folks?

On gullibility I follow Hofstadter's maxim.

How gullible are you? Is your gullibility located in some "gullibility center" in your brain? Could a neurosurgeon reach in and perform some delicate operation to lower your gullibility, otherwise leaving you alone? If you believe this, you are pretty gullible, and should perhaps consider such an operation.
