Composer Index Rebooted
« on: April 16, 2017, 07:23:23 AM »
Is this index being maintained anymore? If not, I could definitely make an updated version - that is, of course, if there is a need. I do notice that many names are missing and Lethevich has not been active since 2013. What is your opinion?

A good idea in my view, and thanks for the offer.

That's a marvelous (and generous) offer, and I suspect everyone here would be grateful. We miss Lethevich, but it appears she is not returning.

So I've created the thread: http://www.good-music-guide.com/community/index.php?topic=26912.0

There are 62 pages in the Composer Discussion forum. I plan to go through one every day.

Amazing service if you can complete it and only a mess if you can't. Thank you.

I wonder if including a few of the threads, directly related to a composer, in great recordings section would enrich the experience and be useful for the future.

I would also find that useful. Some of the best 'composer' threads are not in the composer section, they are in the recordings section. And vice-versa, we tend to be quite anarchistic here at GMG... :)

Let's hope it gets completed soon. I notice that England has its own entry, so I hope we're having entries for Wales, Scotland, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
