Hey Conor!

When I bought that album, it was because I adored Fools Gold and I Wanna Be Adored. I was disappointed with the other songs, but each time I listen to the album, I like them more.

Fools Gold and I Wanna Be Adored are top Stone Roses songs for sure.
The anniversary edition of the album I mentioned has the Fools Gold single as one of the bonus tracks (and that was the main reason why I bought it! :)).
I also remember liking She Bangs The Drums from the original album a lot.
I like old music :)

Listened to this in bed last night and it made me feel a bit depressed :( (but I snapped out of it already :D) - quite a powerful album.

The Church's last album - not one of their better ones but it improves with each listening.

Another good B & S (plenty of choice with their discography).
I like old music :)

NIce taste, man. Those are two of my favorites. How are you getting along with Radiohead's latest album? I assume you have it.

Thanks George :) -  I listened to the new Radiohead a few times already; I like it a lot!.
I guess Radiohead have been doing the indie rock/electronic kind of style for a while now so I didn't find the new one too much of a progression from their earlier efforts.

Currently listening to their first album:

I think this one may be a bit under-appreciated - Its pretty good!.

Recent listening:

Radiohead - Hail To The Thief

Not one I have listened to a whole lot before now - It's great though (I played it twice this morning already!).

Fleet Foxes - Crack-Up

Was surprised to receive this about an hour ago after just ordering it yesterday! (not like Australia Post to be this efficient..) - Listening to it for the first time.
Edit: I listened to the album a couple of times at work - I agree with SimonNZ that it's pretty similar in style to their previous ones; In this case that's not a bad thing as more of the same is pretty much what I want from this group at the moment.
So I really like this album and will be listening to it more in future I would say :).

… music is not only an `entertainment’, nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found.    RVW, 1948

Thanks George - I like pretty much all of Radiohead's output and it's really just The King Of Limbs that I'm not totally convinced by ATM (but that could change in future)..
What about you George - what would you consider their best & worst efforts?

Almost classical: Astor Piazzolla played by Daniel Mille

A must have for Piazzolla afficianados
A woman voice glides like the wind
Of black, of damp, of night
And all it touches in this flight
Suddenly is over.

I have to correct a statement I made earlier. I actually enjoy this one more than his first album. It seems a bit more personal, more emotionally open.

A somewhat overlooked album, but a really good one nonetheless. Much of it comes across as a continuation of The Tower.

Good stuff George! - I had a refresher listen to all of Radioheads albums this week so I can probably answer this question honestly now.
My list is somewhat similar to yours:

Best albums/Favourites:

The Bends
OK Computer
Kid A
In Rainbows

Very good:

Amnesiac
Hail To The Thief
The King Of Limbs
A Moon Shaped Pool

Good (but least preferred):

Pablo Honey

I like all of their albums! :)

Recent listening:

Beachwood Sparks - The Tarnished Gold

Easily their best album so far (but will they make another one?) - So mellow and tuneful (and I love those vocal harmonies).

Father John Misty - Pure Comedy

Just arrived this morning and I listened to it for the first time already.
Found this a bit more simple and serious than his previous albums but I really loved it. Especially liked the (long!) song "Leaving LA".
Going to listen to this again later.

I like old music :)

Now playing:

Listening to this one again - A strong album for sure (I especially like the tracks "Enter Sylvia Plath", "The Cat With The Cream" and "This Army's For Peace").
