Hoy, George!  I am reading the transcript of an interview with Peter Bergman of the Firesign Theatre, and in talking about pre-Firesign days, on radio KPFK Pacifica, he says he was the first to play Cat Stevens on the radio . . . it all ties in together . . . .

Thread Duty:  probably my very favorite Supertramp track.

Just been listening to " Quentin's Theme ( or Shadows of the Night )" from the original Dark Shadows.

I hadn't heard this music for fifty years, until thirty minutes ago. Yet every note was just as l remembered... Nice to know that part of my brain still functions!

Relieved,

Hah! A blast from the past. I remember that show in 1966/67, when I was a senior in high school. I wasn't sure I remembered correctly but Wiki confirms it was on in the late afternoon, a half hour after school let out. Made it home in time to see episodes.

"Dark Shadows found its demographic niche in teenagers coming home from school in time to watch the show at 4 p.m. Eastern..."

As I've had the title track stuck in my head all day:

IQ: Subterranea

Released 20 years ago, Subterranea is a double-CD narrative concept album which was recently turned into a movie.
