I'm not the only Cardiacs nut on the forum! Hurrah! ;D

What an album Sing To God is. I think I'm right in saying that Bill Drake named it as his favourite, even though he's not on it.

It is a massive album!

His work on albums like A Little Man and a House and the Whole World Window is great, awesome band full of so many talented musicians past and present!   8)

Yes, incredible band, and Tim Smith is a genius.

This was my introduction to Cardiacs at a friend's house around 1989-ish:

<a href="https://www.youtube.com/v/A5qrlOOPwZ8" target="_blank" class="new_win">https://www.youtube.com/v/A5qrlOOPwZ8</a>

When his wife said, "oh god, you're not going to play him that bloody Cardiacs video are you?" I knew I was in for something different. After the five minutes of insanity that is The Consultant's Flower Garden I was wondering what the hell I was watching. Then the songs started and it just got stranger and stranger. I wasn't sure what to make of it at first, but I knew there was something really interesting there, and I was soon going back for more. How bitterly ironic that they've probably been more popular since Tim was taken ill than they were when they were still a functioning band. :(

My favorite Neil Young album, brings along a very sentimental wistful feeling but I love it:

After some Scelsi, now some Sabbath:

War Pigs, Electric Funeral and Planet Caravan still have the power for me that they had when I was younger  :)

Actually, even parts of Iron Man have quite a strong effect, a bit of psychedelia in there too

The opening of Iron Man still sends chills up my spine.
