How Does 'It' Movie Stack Up for You?
« on: September 11, 2017, 06:19:43 AM »
Anyone seen it yet?

I do just hate when the "horror" turns into "sci-fi" at the end >:(. Same with 'Super 8', great opening, bad ending.

I haven’t seen the It rehash (because that’s what it is), but I’m not too impressed with the way the film looks. Also, no one could ever better Tim Curry as Pennywise. I agree about the ending of the film, though, but there’s been several films through the years with disappointed endings.

I remember the big campaign for the title, back in the deeps of time, when Viking-Penguin still had facilities in East Rutherford, New Jersey.  I've not read the book.

I saw the first one, awful, and not not worth it, I think.

Btw, clowns in Russia have demonstrated against the movie, criticizing how it is offensive and damages their profession and mission:
