Marcel Bitsch (1921-2011)

All of a sudden, I have three random pieces by a New Composer with a funny name, three separate French recital pieces (bassoon, horn, and trumpet, all with piano) that allude to him being partial to the Opera Paraphrase, single movement variation virtuoso style, clean and brilliant like most all of his contemporaries.

Second variation reminds me of "Dance Of The Ballerina" from Stravinsky (Petrushka)  ???
