And although you're probably already aware of it, the Associated Press blog is a worthwhile visit https://apimagesblog.com along with their homepage http://www.apimages.com - I'd go as far as saying that the AP now a stronger pool of photographers and editors than there has been in quite some time.

This painting by Turner is my current wallpaper on my computer.
It is inspired by Turner, but there are some later, un-Turneresque traits too. I checked, and it is by Albert Goodwin and from 1900!

There are lots of wrong attributions on the web, lately I saw a good deal of examples of landscape colour photographs that one could buy - but they were from other places than it was advertised ...

Yeah, it’s quite a normal occurrence to encounter mislabeled items when searching photos via Google or whatever search engine you’re using.
