we do need a thread where we could post links to legal downloads available on the web + recordings from webcasts.
Virtuoso pianist Idil Biret, to her credit, puts up lots of old recordings on her website: http://www.idilbiret.net/Archive/musicarchive01.htm
May i request for the Gergiev Rotterdam Philharmonic concert you had back there couple of months ago? I discovered your thread only recently! (shame on me!!! )
What was the program?
It contained Shostakovich's 5th symphony. Thankyou!Howard
Just checked the Biret site. Wow, I didn't know she made a transcription of Brahms' third. Does anyone here have more info about that? Did she ever record like a whole set of them?
