Isn't that commercially available (on Testament, with the LSO, not the LPO) ? http://www.arkivmusic.com/classical/album.jsp?album_id=29169 or is it another one?
Well, the Testament recording is just fabulous (even more so the appended Tchaikovsky concerto). So I suppose this is really worth the duplication. How is the sound on that?
I have acquired a live radio recording of IDAHAENDEL from 1953 playing under Sergiu Celibidacheand the London Philharmonic. The power, technique, energy and rhythm of Haendel in this recording are absolutely phenomenal. This performance has moved into my all time top ten of all violin recordings. She blew my socks off and spun my wig. WOW !!!.
