The question that comes to mind is, which of these two uses of computational power is more idiotic?

Tom Ashbrook dismissed from "On Point" by WBUR after an investigation validated claims that he created a hostile and abusive workplace environment (apparently not including sexual harassment).

Well, some will attribute everything to cynical motives, but the left-leaning outlets don't give their own a pass on this sort of thing.

Is this unimportant news or a different kind of news? Gergiev extends contract w/Munich Phil. until 2025.

Slovak journalist murder
https://www.rappler.com/world/regions/europe/196970-slovak-police-probe-murder-investigative-journalist
follows a similar case in Malta.  What is the organisation behind the murders of anti-fraud investigations?  This is very disturbing....

Another disturbing news.  Israeli authorities decided to levy taxes on christian golgota shrine and consider churches as commercial property.  As a result the holy sepulcre shrine is now closed.

http://m.digitaljournal.com/news/world/church-at-jesus-s-traditional-burial-site-closed-for-second-day/article/515873

This christian shrine has existed close to 2 thousand years before the state of israel.  It has been a christian shrine for all this time...

To be clear: the taxes would apply to non church property owned by the Church, not to the property on which the church actually sits.

Full enforcement of Jewish law would require complete destruction of this and all other churches in Israel, since they are devoted to idol worship, in the eyes of Jewish law. Mosques would be untouched, since Islam is not idol worship.

Georgia Teacher Arrested after barricading himself in his classroom and firing a gun out the window.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/02/28/us/georgia-dalton-high-school-teacher-gunfire/index.html

Yes, if every teacher has a gun, that will solve everything.

Well, if the students have guns too, they can defend themselves against unhinged teachers.
