Title: Carlos Jiménez Mabarak (1916-1994)
Post by: arkiv on November 25, 2017, 08:56:59 AM
Regarding the relationship with his contemporaries, Jiménez Mabarak can be placed between two generations: the last nationalist impulse formed by the composers of "el grupo de los cuatro" and the so-called third generation with composers born at the end of the twenties and thirties (Manuel Enríquez, Joaquín Gutiérrez Heras, Francisco Savín, Leonardo Velázquez, Rafael Elizondo, Mario Kuri Aldana, etc).
