Am I the only one who wonders how this isolated, primitive little nation-state, has advanced to the level of being able to fire a nuclear warhead virtually anywhere in the world in a mere 5 years time? I mean, they aren't there yet, but they are 10 years ahead of where any reasonable projection would have them by now.
Geez, I wonder if they have help? It could only come from a couple of places I know of: China or Russia. None of the other nuclear powers except France or England is at that stage yet. Unless, of course, it's .... us!?!? :o :o

I've seen reports that the missile parts seen in N Korean propaganda pictures bear a resemblance to components made by a (former Soviet) supplier in Eastern Ukraine, the "separatist" part. Maybe Trump gets a cut.

Well, that would explain some of the parts, although it is the technology and design itself which is advanced so much. One wonders about Iran too. It seems they have quite a bit of technology that they can't make use of, but selling it to NK would be a solid move for them. :-\

My understanding is that it is the engine that is the tricky part. The rest is just software. The US deployed an ICBM in 1962. Think about the computer control technology they had then. An Adruino would have been consider a supercomputer in those days. :)
