Don't know what "Big Swiss" is but that cover design is attention-getting!

Quote from: Mookalafalas on Today at 02:50:49 AMYes, they recently bought another whole label. I didn't see that coming.
Not the first time! Naxos also owns Ondine, Capriccio, Oehms Classics, and a couple others.  :)

I'm definitely going to listen to DH's Berglund review today while cleaning the bathroom.

The cover art of the EMI/Warner Sawallisch edition says there will be a Volume 2 for operas.

Quote from: DavidW on Today at 05:20:23 AMMy mind is blown that you would even want to read that,

I thought that I could use something light --- and I stumbled upon something stupid.  :)

Quoteand where did you find it? ;D

In my own library, but as an inheritance, not a purchase.  :D

QuoteSince you mentioned Dan Brown, I didn't want to hurt the feelings of whoever posted about on this thread, but check out this hilarious parody of him, complete with a great imitation of his terrible prose! ;D

Hilarious indeed! Thanks a lot for that.  8)

The word 'obsession' comes from the Latin 'obsidere' which means 'to besiege'.

General Classical Music Discussion / Re: Purchases Today

Qobuz lied to me!  The prices were if you have their premium subs, i.e. fake prices.  They're actually more expensive so I ended up using Presto for all but Chailly M9 (which I still bought from 7digital).  I also bought this set:

This and the concertos were the case were I initially didn't like 'em and then gave them a fresh listen later and fell in love.

I also had problems with Amazon Music and ended up going back to Qobuz.  If Apple Music is ever added to BluOS I will give it a shot.  But for now I'm done exploring.

Quote from: Que on Today at 12:27:33 AMI never expected to see another release by Fra Bernardo again, they must still be afloat:

Release date in Germany: 5th of April.

Ha!  New ugly cover drop from Beauty Farm... I feel like it would be low hanging fruit to cross-post this on the worst covers thread. :-X

Quote from: Mookalafalas on Today at 02:50:49 AMIt's in Dave's typical "rough and ready" style,

More like youtube style, his written content is far more polished for obvious reasons.  VLOGs are expected to be more spontaneous or at least feel that way.
