Download Rapidget software. It's a simple application to manage uploads. You just have to "drag and drop" the files to its window. Other parameters can also be adjusted (like limits to connection speed). And you can configure it to work with your collector's account (the free ones) or your Premium account (subscribers).
Once the upload is completed, the program gives you the link for the files (and to kill them too).
I only use Rapidshare and never had any problems. But I'm subject to its limitations for free users though.
Check at OperaShare for the video of Gergiev and Repin in the Proms.

It was originally thought for ME to publish MY links. But then someone hijacked the rules... I was off for vacations... I was off after a heavy bike accident. So who cares now? I was just joking. Yes you can, ask whatever you want. If I remember well (*) someone requested some Sinopoli or Giulini a few months ago. *(I can not assure this; as today I forgot the code for the alarm of my house, yesterday I lost my keys... and that's why I'm having a tomogram done tomorrow... )

BRAHMS Violin Concerto in D, Op.77 BACH: Solo Partita No.3 in E: Prelude Violin: Yehudi Menuhin BBC Symphony Orchestra Conductor: Adrian Boult Mono MP3 Folder includes radio commentary. Recorded in Studio 1, Maida Vale, London on 05 April 1943 http://rapidshare.com/files/21443731/MenBrahmsVC43.zip.html*********************** Sometimes I think this woman played the violin with one finger only... Brahms Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 77 Erica Morini New York Philharmonic George Szell conducting Carnegie Hall December 14, 1952 This is obviously from a transcription disc, but the sound is solid and clear with little noise. 256 kbps mp3 http://rapidshare.com/files/22381975/Morini_Brahms.ZIP

I've recently received a video with Kavakos and Rattle playing Bartok's second concerto. I can attempt to upload it if there are some solicitors... (I want to be sure there is people interested in it, as its 400mb will not be easy to handle with my rapidshare free collector account)
Any takers?

if you are so eager to share music with people, why don't you join demonoid.com?

well it's a website for p2p file sharing, basically, huge files, such as the file you are trying to upload is too big to be put through a file sharing website like Rapidshare, so Demonoid uses P2p technology to share music with others, it utilizes "torrent files", so no matter how big the file you have, as long as there are people who are willing to download it, the file will be copied onto their computers, and in turn shared with more people... think about an exponential growth, you have 1 copy at the very beginning, then you pass it to 2 people, 2 people passes to 4, 4 to 8, 8 to 16, etc.... eventually there will be hundreds of copies of your original file, and other people can download it with Top speeds. if you are interested in becoming a member, pm me.

The Rite of Springhttp://rapidshare.com/files/23767817/Salonen_Rite_of_Spring.mp3.htmlWeekend of June 11-13, 2004 The Los Angeles Philharmonic Esa-Pekka Salonen, conductor Walt Disney Concert Hall Los Angeles, California Igor Stravinsky - The Rite of Spring (revised version) 33:22 From the finale concert of the 2004 "Building Music" series. Originally Broadcast by KUSC Exported to 320kbps *Beware, inordinate amount of audience coughing in soft parts The other pieces of this concert were Salonen's Wing on Wing and Shostakovich's PC 1 with Yefim Bronfman. I could upload those sometime as well. This is a very good, live Le Sacre displaying the trademarks of how he conducts this piece, but IMO, an even better, live Le Sacre from him is an excerpt I have from the PBS special on the Disney Hall inauguaration concerts in 2003. I'm uploading that and will post links soon. -Greta

From PBS Great Performances broadcast 34:22 AVI format About 212 MB *Audio glitch at 11:05 Quality of the video is mediocre, and it's a little small, but it's GREAT. Must-watch if you've never seen him conduct this. It's really a stronger, more sizzling performance than the radio broadcast above. The playing is in top form, completely involved and full of abandon. I love the digging in and holding back on "Spring Rounds" and the ending, really dancing on the edge. It's seems he flourishes under pressure. It's too bad I'm so far from L.A. and have never seen him live. I've never flown anywhere for a concert, but by golly, next season I'm going out there.

I've split the file and tried to upload it but such operation is just out of my capacities with the connection I have. I get an upload speed of 10kb/s, what makes the upload of 400mb impossible. I'm terribly sorry, as I should have checked that before offering...
