Hi guys,

Does anyone know how GPO works? I've been told that you need something called "finale 2007" for the thing to work, so with just GPO there's no way you can compose music, is that right?

If you want to compose music, do you need a digital keyboard to input the notes/values into the program? Or is a keyboard enough?

Last question: How does one convert the finished MIDI file into high quality sounding .mp3, or .wav files?

Sorry for the bunch of questions, just getting ready for composing next year. Thanks guys ! Smiley

Hello,

GPO is just a sound library. You need Finale  (notation software) to tell GPO what notes to play.
With Finale and GPO you can import MIDI files and convert them into mp3. What you call "high quality" is the sound of GPO.

Cheers

Thanks for your reply rappy. I heard you're a good composer ! Smiley

P.S. Does GPO come with Finale 2007? Or do I need to buy both?
