Bumble bees get much better press.

The Flight of the House Fly doesn't quite have the same ring to it

 

But imagine "I know an old lady who swallowed a bumble bee" ...

... or instructing kids about the "birds and the flies"

... or shrieking, "Waiter! There's a bumble bee in my soup"!
