i can't believe i said problemo instead of problema, that was lame

anyways......
i've looked at the dates of the Takemitsu competitions and it goes like:

'07-'09, '11-'13, '15-'17

basically, i'm not going to be composing for a while. In fact, I don't plan to compose until right before the '15-'17 cycle again, which is 8 years from now.

for now, i've got other stuff to worry about, and when it comes to music, right now the guitar is coming first.

also, i think i can pull of the Mahler-like orchestral score every now and then (though i also have to make up my own style, too). In fact, i just wrote something that's about 2 minutes long a couple of weeks ago that sounded like his stuff, and it was good, too. So it's all figured out now.  Smiley

Since I don't know what kacking is, I'll choose option B.

KACK is the acronymical designation for Nantucket Memorial Airport. Wasn't that the airport that was the setting for Wings?

Thanks, Danny, glad you enjoyed it Smiley

As a side note, I was thinking of mentioning that, you know, probably the main thing i'd want to do with guitar is to write electric guitar concertos. Never would I join a band (since my musical view is so radically different than what's popular, and to compromise for popularity really is lame). Teaching guitar is ok, too, but it takes up time, so i wouldn't do that either. There is a possibility one day i make something like an instrumental rock album all by myself, but it's unlikely. Just orchestral works and guitar concertosand that's it  Smiley
