I dowloaded it all right. Not yet listened to, though, so I hope there's a piano concerto in that file!

Thanks George! I've never had that problem on that service, never even had to wait, but unfortunately it seems this is a common problem with countries outside of the States. Maybe I won't use them anymore. YouSendIt usually bugs me to register, or I would've used that. It seems all the upload services have their downsides...

I use yousendit only cause its easy for me to use. The trick to using them is to only upload one track at a time, then you don't need to subscribe.

Thanks for that one!
I've heard the Berlioz-Liszt before (I notice only movements 2, 4 and 5 aere included), but it's the first time I hear about this Bizet-Saint-Saëns transcription. Exciting!

I have a Gergiev concert from NPR SymphonyCast, that is okay to upload? It is when the Rotterdam Phil was in Atlanta at Emory Univ, it was broadcast recently. Vladimir Feltsman (who I had never heard before!) with a wonderful Rach 3 and the other half is Shostakovich 5th. Quality is very good (except brass had a minor endurance problem at end of Shosty... ) I just joined OperaShare - but I can't seem to get files uploaded to RapidShare.com (I don't subscribe) and that's what they like you to use there. When I click upload, it just sits there waiting and never uploads. Any tips? I'm uploading to YouSendIt and will be back with links... -Greta

This is what I'd suggest using as your first choice for downloads. I've never had a problem with this company.

Yes, I like it so far, but I don't know if they like YouSendIt links over at OperaShare? Okay, here we go- Part 1 http://download.yousendit.com/B1E728964F7955E5 Part 2 http://download.yousendit.com/C381C0574E1C63F7NPR SymphonyCast Week of March 18, 2007 April 2, 2006 Rotterdam Philharmonicat Schwartz Center for the Performing Arts, Emory University Atlanta, Georgia Valery Gergiev, conductor Vladimir Feltsman, piano Program: Sergei Rachmaninoff: Piano Concerto No. 3 in d, Op. 30 (1909)—Allegro ma non tanto, Intermezzo (Adagio), Alla breve Dmitri Shostakovich: Symphony No. 5 in d, Op. 47 (1937)—Moderato, Allegretto, Largo, Allegro non troppo Exported to 256kbps Part 1 Rachmaninoff - 44:55 Part 2 Shostakovich - 50:23 I included this info in a text file with the uploads, but the file sizes and bitrate listed weren't correct because I had to rerip it at 256k to fit under the 100MB upload rule. The above is the correct info.

I can't seem to get files uploaded to RapidShare.com (I don't subscribe) and that's what they like you to use there. When I click upload, it just sits there waiting and never uploads. Any tips? Hi Greta, I've used rapidshare.com many times and never had any problems. I'll just list the steps one by one so you can check if you're missing something: 1) I go to http://www.rapidshare.com/. 2) I click the grey button (I don't know what it says on it in English - it shows the text in Polish on my computer: "Wybierz" - that roughly means "Select", "Choose" or something like that). 3) That opens a window where I have to select the location of the file on my computer and click "Open" (or press enter). 4) The path should now be shown in the rapidshare window. I now click on "Upload!". 5) The "Upload!" text changes to "Please wait...". After a short while (15 secs?) the window changes - a "progress bar" appears at the top, showing how much of the upload is already uploaded + info on the upload speed and time left. 6) Once it's all done the window changes again. At the top of the screen it says: "File [file name] ([file size]) uploaded!". They are now encouraging you to subscribe. I ignore that and click on "I don't want a collector's account right now. Just give me the download-link." at the very bottom of the screen. 7) The window changes again: the address of the uploaded file + a delete link are revealed. I copy these (using ctrl+c) and paste them somewhere to keep (I use Opera notes but you can also use the MS Notepad, Word, or whatever). That's all! I double check that I have both the links and close the window. YouSendIt is fine but you have to register to get the bigger (not all that big, really) files which is not very nice of them... Anyway, thanks for the files! Maciek

Thanks, Maciek! I'm stuck here: 5) The "Upload!" text changes to "Please wait...". After a short while (15 secs?) the window changes - a "progress bar" appears at the top, showing how much of the upload is already uploaded + info on the upload speed and time left.
I get the "Please Wait..." and waited for about 20 mins, tried twice, same thing LOL -Greta
