Winter greetings from the Pacific Northwest!

We don't have any snow here in Helsinki so it's VERY dark all the time. Not fun at all!  :-\
Spatial distortion is a serious problem deteriorating headphone listening.
Crossfeeders reduce spatial distortion and make the sound more natural
and less tiresome in headphone listening.

Happy Winter Solstice to everyone. No snow here in Texas either, but it's damned cold. No matter, days get longer from here on out, so things will be much better soon.

Poju. Isn't that unusual ???

Lis, Are you doing your usual nude pagan thing in the garden?

Do let us have the usual photos, have a great time.

Enjoy it while it lasts! It was that here, too, yesterday. Now it is in the low 40's with a strong north wind. That 150 miles between us is as nothing to Boreas... :)

Here at 55 degrees N it is at last properly cold and dark. Weirdly though, we have received very little snow so far. Dammit, it doesn't feel like Russian winter unless there is снег and lots of it!  >:(

20 years ago we had snowy winters, 10 years ago we had some snow. Now we hardly get any snow anymore. All this thanks to global warming...  ::)

No, Honey, stopped doing it, there is no money in it any more. Neighbour Ed used to sell seats on his second story sundeck, overlooking my yard, but with the present financial situation, people stay at home and instead of the $25.00 ticket, they run up a free triple x rated link on their computer and see much more exciting things than I was able to offer them.  :(

Howling winds, here in Edinburgh, and no snow. More or less as expected. 8)

Happy winter solstice!

It's gotten cold here, too (finally!); my winter solstice thing was to make a very pleasant road trip through many parts of Attica and reaching both coasts in the process. Cheer up, people, days are getting bigger starting tomorrow!  8)

Well, I suppose you go to the well often enough, eventually it runs dry. Pity, perhaps next year it will be seen as a good value evening out. You need to throw them hamburgers or something....melting marshmallows perhaps.

Personally, the North Bridge, and especially the northern part of George Square are my benchmarks. If I can approach and enter the Philosophy building without getting nearly spun around by the odd, intermittent gust, that's always a good sign. ;D
