I want to become a competent cook. :)

You start out as a saucier. You should meet my buddy Matthew!

After enough cigarettes, that's what all your words will sound like.

"Surgeon General's Warning: Regular consumption of cigarettes will make you sound like Walter Huston in Treasure of the Sierra Madre."

...or Vito Corleone in The Godfather.

don't be duped into thinking that those and many other things are "vices". That's just a word put out there to control people by instilling some sort of silly moral misgiving. Resolve not to trust those and those things which purport to sway with subtle moral baggage and you'll be far happier in life.

Don't be duped into thinking that drinking isn't a vice.   ::)

Just by the end of this year my best friend disappointed-shocked-pissed me off, as well as my two buddies...kinda surprised me. Probably there was my fault in there, too, or I'm drawing hasty conclusions...nevertheless, I wish myself those problems be resolved in the new year, and if not - forget such dreadful experience and find new, real friends (it's hard!). And I wish myself to be a better friend as well.

And everyone else I wish...whatever you wish yourself! :D And good health. :)

Mine is to stop eating so much ziti pasta.  And less ziti pizza.

To try to stop reading or posting on this site while simultaneously trying to grill lamb steaks and roast potatoes >:( :(

This leads to the blackish hardened mess I am currently attempting to crunch my way through and will probably lead to me burning my house down if I am not more careful :o :o ;D
