Today's the anniversary of a fine composer: Gustav Holst;
and of two great,great players: Emmanuel Feuermann
and Ossip Gabrilovitch. Have Feuermann don't died at 40,
he would be no doubt one of the greatest cellist of the
century. His few recordings are just the same always
magnificent,as a soloist or on chamber ensambles. With
Heifetz and Primrose, they form IMO the most fantastic
string trio.
