Thought we could all share.

I'm such a huge fan of "The Pam Stone Show".  Who, you ask?

Pam Stone was a stand up comedian for 20 years in the 80s and 90s.  If anyone remembers the sitcom "Coach" with Craig T. Nelson, Pam Stone played Judy Watkins (the really tall women's basketball coach).  Well, for the past three or four years Pam has done a radio show from her horse farm in South Carolina and it is one of the funniest shows I've ever heard.  She's really fan friendly and I've met her a couple of times and she's a really neat person.  They air on Saturdays from 10am-2pm on Charlotte's 107.9 Link Radio.

They also stream live and have free downloadable podcasts of the show.  If you want a good laugh, visit the website and listen in:

Generally I dislike radio, even including classical. I want to listen to what I want to listen to.

That said, I've been listening to http://www.bluesbeforesunrise.com/ on and off for 20-some years.

I agree. I lost interest in my transistor when I got my first stereo at age 12 :)

Wait wait...Don't tell me.

It's a fun program and broadcast on NPR (National Public Radio) which often leaves me in stitches.  Part of it is a game called "Not my job" in which various people from different professions are asked questions about subjects which have nothing to do with their real jobs.  Before this though, they are interviewed about their lives and their real jobs.  This one, in particular, I remember well.  :)
