Need your help - Coverting PAL to NTSC on a MAC

OK,guys, I need your help.

I have a DVD that is PAL and I wanted to convert it to NTSC so that I could watch it on my DVD player.

I downloaded MacTheRipper and ripped the DVD. I then burned the ripped material to a DVD using Toast 9, which converted the PAL to NTSC (it took about 3 hours.)

I put the DVD copy in and the video looks fine, the sound is fine but NO SUBTITLES!!

So, what I need to do now?

I think the subtitles got lost when Toast 9 converted from PAL to NTSC, since Mac The Ripper rips the entire CD, making a clone of it.

I would like to know how to do this on a regular PC! I have tons of Deep Purple, Rainbow, Gary Moore, Ozzy, and Sabbath boots from Poland that I can only watch on computer.

Someone please help !
