It's really weird, especially when both the 4th and 8th start off with BARNSTORMER first movements. Easy to like. Or maybe that's the reason.

Just as a composition that is heavy on dissonance and angst will automatically get taken more seriously than a consonant, cheerful work. The old show-biz saying is true: "Dying is easy, comedy is hard."
