Mmmmmm, that will help my GERD.

Back in the good old days, my mother (first heart attack at 62) took a tablespoon of Crisco, melted it in an iron skillet, and fried hamburgers floating in it several times a week!  

Sausage?  Why, you have not lived until you have eaten sausage fried in Crisco!    

Steaks?  Yep, fried in Crisco!  "It's Digestible!"          

Everything tasted really good!   0:)

In spite of that childhood diet, Cato has been able to stay c. 180-190 pounds since he was 13 and hit 6' 3".  But his cholesterol count!!!  

So meat has been verboten in my diet for some years now: and I still need anti-cholesterol pills!
