Want Beethoven's 9th symphony longer?

Actually, there isn't as much tempo flutuation in Beethoven's 9th as someone may suggest. Most recordings range between 62 minutes to 71 minutes. There are one or two at closer to 80, but that is very rare. There are works where timing can be off by a huge margin within ONE movement, which is not often the case here.

Longest I know is Bohm being few seconds under 79, followed by Celibidache's 77, on the other side fastest I have is Gardiner at 59 something. Gurn and jwinter would know more probably.
