Though the parts where the husky was trying to groom it (and not doing the best job of it--ears?) touched me...he/she was trying.    Sweet puppy/dog.

Truthfully, I expect that they'll make a happy pair--hopefully, for many, many years.

My cats usually ignore screens, but this one got Alban's undivided attention. Maybe he wants a puppy? He's not getting one.

I played it again a little later. Once again, he was transfixed.

An hour or so later, I played it while both cats could see it. Lulu was equally fascinated.

It crossed my brain that the puppy was looking at the kitten and thinking "You must be the new toy that Mom and Dad promised me".  Meanwhile kitten was going "Whoa!  I am not your new chew toy!"

The only time that I caught one of my cats fascinated with something on the t.v. was when there was one of those baby kitten shows on and one of the kittens was in some sort of distress and was letting its displeasure known.  My Wegie looked at the screen (alert, ears forward, sitting up) as if to say, "But I need to help it!"  She would have been a great mother.
