Sweet kitty!  Glad that she's found a good home and is doing o.k.   :)

I have no idea what she nor her dad were saying.  Even without that, it seemed that she was trying to "talk" to the cat and trying to be kind.  Cat (who seemed to be, to me anyway, to be well fed), just wanted to snooze.  :) Cute.

As a fan of both cats and Kubrick's magnum opus, this resonates.

Speaking of which, how is your cat doing these days?  Hopefully well?

The dad tells her the cat is sleeping soundly. The girl says the cat is fluffy.

This cracked me up...poor dad!

My girls and I slept soundly together (except when there was a mouse around).  The "worst thing" that I remember was when my British shorthair cat started kneading on me on the early side of the morning--on my bladder; that got me up!  lol  ;D  Couldn't be upset with her though as she was purring and making biscuits.  Quite sweet.  :)
