Not our cat; but how she sees herself:

...as Thor's little sister?   ;)

Kaga2

My cat has a trick worked out. When the bed is unmade I play the red dot on it with her. So sometimes she sees me and runs partway up the stairs. If I follow she runs to the bedroom door and waits. Then she runs to the bed and waits while I get the laser pointer.

;D She has you well-trained!   ;)

Missing having one (yet again):  Saw signs of a mouse (always means that there's more than one!); cleaned area up and set traps yesterday.  This morning, found that I had caught one....one small victory for the human!

We have two cats. The 15 year old is a world class mouser still. The 3 year old, who has me trained, is a bit tubby. She tries but almost never catches anything. She stalks birds, which is pretty hilarious as she never has the remotest chance of catching one.

Sounds like the young'un needs to pay attention to his elder!  ;)

I heard about this recently...o.k. so they're not domesticated cats, but.....do check this out:  https://nationalzoo.si.edu/webcams/cheetah-cub-cam.  Mom just had four cubs (about 5 days ago); she just stepped out for a moment.  The little ones are curled up in a corner.   :)  Mom's already back and it's grooming time!

Saddened to hear that tigers can catch the corona virus from their asymptomatic caregivers; zoos are upping their precautions for cats and primates (heard today).  I believe that there are now six tigers who were infected at the Bronx Zoo.  From what I understand, not badly and are improving.

Nice that zoos are offering live cams....and a big thank you to all of the caregivers who are continuing to look out for the animals whilst the zoos (and most of society) are shut down.

I remain skeptical.
You might want to check this out:https://virus.stanford.edu/uda/fluresponse.html and this: https://www.sfgate.com/coronavirus/article/1918-pandemic-masks-bay-area-california-15185425.php

I expect that the cat didn't put up with the mask for long!

You should watch this:  go to the 30:00 minute mark.  It's about a couple in Clara, Ireland who have a small farm and decided to add to it.   :)

The cyanotype picture is amazing, make me wish I knew something — anything! — about photography.

Hello accmacmus,

I remember last summer seeing an artist's work (at a monthly gallery artists' exhibitions) who used that kind of effect with plants.  I think though that she also did some prints in other colors?  I was quite impressed by her work.  Will see if I can find out her name and see what kind of processes she used.

You're not alone in wishing that they knew more about photography....and wished that they (meaning at least 'I') could take a decent picture!  ;) :)

Best wishes,

PD
