Really like the one Trio Gaspard recording I own - which includes a Haydn trio as it happens - and both Rimmer and Kadesha do good work together and individually.  I look forward to this complete cycle, though I am guessing they will not finish until around 2032 or so.

2032 seems a good guess.

I have not heard the latest incarnation of the Prazak.  I hope they have maintained the same quality.

Tidying up some more stuff for JULY that hasn't been posted yet.

Definitely interested in these! Can't get enough Dussek ever since I heard some of his piano concertos played by Staier.

Adding a contemporary work to Haydn is the kind of gimmick that says "actually we wanted to do contemporary works but there's no money in it".
I am now working on a discography of the works of Vagn Holmboe. Please visit and also contribute!

Do you happen to know the artist and name of the cover art of Crepuscolo?

Geez, does pianist Oliver Triendl ever sleep? :D He seems to be involved in multiple recordings of lesser-known chamber repertoire per month!

Nimbus isn't a label I've paid much attention to recently, but they've released three substantial new recordings of Thomas de Hartmann's music:

The Schelb disc is of interest. I have some music from him I really admire.

Interesting, compared to the more well-known, not very sensational Gurdijeff/De Hartmann piano dances ...
