I'm so there! Love these works. Very cool cover artwork as well. Any idea when this will be released, Todd?

The Chailly recording of the Mermaid is no slouch in the sound department, though.

It's a March release. Also, for whatever reason, Zemlinsky's Sinfonietta is recorded in a new chamber orchestra version by Roland Freisitzer. Aside from the violins (2), there are only 1 of every instrument.

It will be interesting to hear the chamber orchestra version just like it was interesting, for me, to hear the full orchestra arrangement of Schoenberg's Chamber Symphony No. 1 on the Rattle recording.

Roger's 2015 Requiem and Antoni Wit's 2014 Requiem will probably be as exactly opposite as two recordings can possibly be. Very excited for Bergen Prokofiev to continue, and even more so for Rysanov/Martinu/kitty cat.

My, oh My !! Thanks, Todd !

A treasure trove of Mozart and Grumiaux. Over the years I have come to prefer the Mozart violin sonatas to those of Beethoven.

Too bad Grumiaux didn't also do the 'Haydn' Quartets. But I'll settle for what we have. Hopefully the price will be reasonable.  :-\

Or more correctly in English "The League of David Against the Philistines" - an interesting concept and includes a number of Schumann pieces I've never heard before. I might just pick this up.

I forgot to copy part of the text: the pieces with asterisks* are world-premieres!
