The Naxos Alsop/Prokofiev box: Jewel-cases or (hopefully) not? Anyone know?
Just looking at the picture suggests jewel cases.
I am now working on a discography of the works of Vagn Holmboe. Please visit and also contribute!

The individual CDs as originally issued in a cardboard sleeve.
Naxos's Villa Lobos symphony cycle is the same way, btw.

Finally!!

Clementi Plays Scarlatti!

I shall repeat the following to myself: I don't need more non-operatic Rossini.

I guess I can sample to see if Caetani can accompany as well as his father.

The universe is change; life is opinion. - Marcus Aurelius, Meditations

People would rather believe than know - E.O. Wilson

Propaganda death ensemble - Tom Araya

I have a copy; the company were good to deal with. The recital is as interesting as his Arbiter Chopin disc I'd say -- I mean, if you enjoyed his Chopin, get this.)

All boxed up.

In case you want a physical copy that uses both UHQCD (!) and MQACD (!!) technologies!!!  (MQACD sure reminds me of HDCD, which precisely zero people talk about anymore.)

Back cover of the Enescu themed CD. I take it that the theme is more "music related to Enescu" than "music by Enescu".

But it does include the Octet.

Wow this is a starry lineup of singers:

More detailed image of the forthcoming Casals box:

Wow, this guy really always had terrible hair, didn't he? Shaved head would have been such a better choice:

More stuff:

Finally:

Yes, that's a quartet of four accordions.
