Great choice! This is a possible rival (not in my collection):

Doesn't that almost look like they were caught just as Freddy was forcing Montserrat... uh, well... never mind.

This is probably high up my list:

...although beaten by:

(used copies of which go for around 1 cent {!} on Amazon... which is some indication of how well it has held up.  ;D )

Oh, no... wait...

maybe this:

(Oh, there are so many to chose from.  :) )

if you have "embarassing" cds in you're collection, it is because it makes you feel "naughty" like a man exposing himself to old women in a park. it is NOT embarassing, but empowering to your psycho-sexual proclivities. you are NOT embarassed by it, but on the contrary, you HOPE someone finds out, because you WANT to get caught so you can scream it to the whole world "i love  milli vanilli"

sick sick sick ;D

and no, you can't disagree with this...it's been proven scientifically.

i was PROUD of william Shatner's "Transformed Man"
i was PROUD of Abba
i was PROUD of Vanilla Fudge

...ok....maybe embarassed by the Danzig "symphony"....naaaw

ok...if you have Kenny G,...i'm embarassed FOR you.
and if i don't like something...it's gone

Mary Schneider: Yodelling the Classics

This one isn't all that embarrassing (in the sense of "afraid to be caught listening to it"), mainly because Schneider is actually quite, quite talented.  If you are just aching to hear Rossini's William Tell Overture yodeled, well...

;D

Here is a review.

Bruce, I have Vol 2. I have never seen Vol 1. Somehow, one disc seems as much of a good thing as I can bear.

The disc notes are hilarious; they take the whole enterprise so seriously. She may have talent, but in his way, so does my plumber. I put it on strictly for laughs.

I wasted time: and time wasted me.

Hey, I always wondered if that was any good! I liked the first 4 albums.

This is a great thread!

The only thing I can think of in my collection is a Manowar CD - there was a time when I was given one of their CDs, but I quickly pawned it off to someone else who finds them equally hilarious and ridiculous, just less cringeworthy and embarassing.

Geologist.

I'm glad you think so. Personally I think that the person who thought it up must be insane  ;D

I don't remember if this was in my collection but I did see them live in concert in London. I made my mum take me  :o

That's the album that first got me playing guitar, love it! Have loved it for twenty five years now  ;). Ozzy couldn't sing if his life depended on it, but some outstanding, improvised guitar playing throughout.

Throw me in that crowd too.  I even have several of Papa Nez's (Mike Nesmith) solo works which are pretty darn fun too.

Yep, me too.

The Monkees had professional songwriters, so what's not to like?
