I see that Kodaly has been mentioned, but this release is gorgeous, not to be missed!

Specific recordings are especially welcome - I wishlisted that one, as I have heard none of those pieces before.

It's a noble wish that can come true for a small fee.

Ok, I ordered it :P It's a wonder that I still have real life friends, I seem to spend all my disposable income on CDs $:)

You won't regret it.

P.S. You could find friends who enjoy Kodály? How rare can they be?  0:)

Hehe, my only other CD with his music is the solo cello CD on Naxos - from what I recall it was quite an effective room-clearer...

... music is not only an 'entertainment', nor a mere luxury, but a necessity of the spiritual if not of the physical life, an opening of those magic casements through which we can catch a glimpse of that country where ultimate reality will be found.    RVW, 1948

Grieg - Symphonic Dances, Norwegian Dances (I think these have been orchestrated)

The symphonic dances (if I'm not mistaken) are Grieg's only such set originally written for orchestra.  The Norwegian Dances were originally for piano, but he later orchestrated them (coincidentally, I just listened to them today :)).  If you like those you'll also enjoy his orchestration of the Lyric Suites, Op. 54.  I have all of the above from this wonderful set...

A definite recommendation.  ;)
